According to the volume of web searches among Floridians, it’s the epic muscle car, the 1969 Dodge Charger. That might not surprise you knowing how much our drivers love to cruise around in vehicles with top-notch power and handling. You can find a slew of classic car dealerships in our neck of the woods. Of course, that only makes sense given our gorgeous weather, lack of state emissions testing (which makes it way easier to keep an antique car), and plenty of prosperous folks who can afford them. Just a warning though, if you go to buy a vintage car (which usually refers to cars built before 1925, like the Model T), you might have to deal with a couple of annoying fees first.
Collecting Classic Cars
In terms of collecting old cars, you would consider three important variables: age, rarity, and design.
It’s hard to find really old cars that are still running, so those are incredibly valuable. Then, you can imagine the models that never had a large volume in the first place, making them very difficult to find now. Finally, design quality goes a long way in attracting a buyer if you own a spectacularly nice car like an old Lamborghini.
