At Ed's Tavern, we pay tribute to military members and first responders. We recognize their dedication to keeping us safe and we acknowledge their contributions, sacrifices, and bravery. That is why we honor first responders every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to close.
Every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to close we offer discounts to first responders, including members of the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, police force, fire department, and emergency medical technicians. We also honor veterans and the spouses of first responders. Military members and first responders get their first cocktail on us. They also get 25 percent off of their meal at Ed's Tavern.
In order to receive the military and first responders discount, individuals must present verification. Only the military member or first responder and their spouse can receive the discount. This special includes well-made liquors, CK Mondavi wines, and domestic drafts. The military and first responder discount cannot be combined with any other offers.
Ed's Tavern is the best sports bar in Manatee - Sarasota county. We serve a wide variety of beers and menu items, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. If you are a military member or first responder, enjoy 25 percent off of your sandwich, salad, burger, or flatbread. You can also try our house-made meatloaf, which is made from rich tomato sauce and served with mashed potatoes and ginger coleslaw.
