Ed’s Tavern warmly welcomes the United States Marine Corps’ outstanding Toys for Tots mission for an exciting road rally this coming December. This fun and charitable event will happen right on Lakewood Ranch’s Main Street, and we’re teaming up with McGrath’s Irish Ale House to serve great food at the event.
You won’t want to miss this 115-mile road rally that goes toward an excellent cause. Here’s the scoop on what you can expect at the rally on December 3rd.
What kind of rally is this?
It’s a driver rally with lots of cool vehicles that will cover 115 miles. This is the first year the cars will be on display for anyone to enjoy as they complete their driving journey. Again, you can enjoy a quick bite courtesy of McGrath’s Irish Ale House and Ed’s Tavern. We’re doing this with Toys for Tots, and the Sarasota Cars & Coffee group.
Suncoast Porsche is proud to present the 2022 Holiday Toy Benefiting the United States Marine Toys for Tots Foundation on Saturday December 3, 2022. A 115-mile charity road rally will begin at Suncoast Porsche where over a hundred cars will join in helping make the Holiday Season brighter for underprivileged children within our community. It’s especially important this year given what we just went through with Hurricane Ian a couple months ago.
Each driver and navigator will drop off unwrapped toys into giant toy boxes that go to our local Toys for Tots office. It’s going to be so big that Lakewood Ranch’s Main Street will close for the day to accommodate a huge turnout. Main Street will also serve as the finish line for the rally.
We expect this to be even larger than the wonderful Holiday Toy Rally. Toys for Tots is celebrating 75 years of helping poverty-stricken children, especially around the holidays. They’ve used charitable proceeds to assist about 15 million children during that time.
